2018 Jeep Wrangler Trim Levels

You have four available trim options with the Jeep Wrangler. There is the Sport, Sport S, Sahara, and Rubicon. Below are some of the specs and features that each specific trim has.

Sport:

You can get the Sport in either a 2-door or 4-door model. Both will give you up to 72.4 cu. ft. of cargo room and 103.7 cu. ft. of passenger volume. The 2-door you can seat four people and the 4-door Sport has seating for up to five. 

The Sport comes standard with the 3.6L V6 24V VVT engine that yields 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. With this engine and the 4-door model, you’ll be able to tow up to 3,500 pounds. There is also an option for a 2.0L I4 DOHC DI Turbo eTorque engine that gets you more efficiency as well as respectable power with 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque.

Technology wise, the Sport has Uconnect® 3 with a 5-inch display, an 8-speaker system, and the ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera. 

Sport S:

Mechanically, the engine choices are the same as the Sport. It also has the Command-Trac® Part Time 42D System that is in the Sport as well.

As far as entertainment, the Sport S also has other available features to enhance your experience inside the Jeep Wrangler. You can get the available Alpine® Premium Audio System and Apple CarPlay®.

You also have options for added comfort in this trim option with an available heated steering wheel. 

Sahara:

The Sahara is the only trim that comes with just a 4-door model and not a 2-door. In the Sahara, you will enjoy the upgrade to the Uconnect® 4 system with the 7-inch display. This means you will get SiriusXM® Satellite Radio with a 1-year subscription, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.

The dashboard display becomes larger in the Sahara going from 3.5-inch to a Cluster 7.0-inch TFT Color Display. Only in this trim you have the available option for the Selec-Trac® Full Time 4WD System.

Rubicon:

This trim level takes the off-roading capabilities to the next level. The rock rails on the Rubicon will help you maneuver over rocks and other rough terrain with ease. The 4WD System in the Rubicon is the 4:1 Rock-Trac® HD Part Time 4WD System that delivers the power needed as well as maintain your control for confident and fun off-roading adventuring.

The Tru-Lok® electronic locking differentials is equipped in both the front and back of the Rubicon, so you can keep the traction that is needed over rough surfaces. The Sway Bar Disconnect will improve your suspension for a smooth and comfortable ride when off-roading.
